Korfball has been included in the All-Russian list of sports
A very important stage on the path to formation of korfball in Russia has been successfully passed: Rossport Board, held on June, 29 2006, recommended including korfball in the All-Russian list of sports.
On the basis of the regulation “About the Federal Agency for Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism” ¹326 of June, 30 2004 the order of inclusion of new sports and sport disciplines cultivated in Russia in the All-Russian list of sports was established. The list of sport and sport disciplines is designed both to improve statistic accounting in the sphere of sport and physical culture and to systematize sports and sport disciplines cultivated on the territory of Russian Federation.
By order of the Head of Rossport korfball has been included in the All-Russian list of sports with the code - 1010002311ß and the number – 61.
